Review of  Pubs, Restaurants and Hotels in Ireland

Before I explain, please keep in mind that members of the BlueSyndrome.net team have personally visited all the establishments reviewed on this site and have been there to experience what they each have to offer, as you can guess, we have been very busy at our work! Therein lies the reason behind my posting this blog site because I feel strongly, in many cases, that if the pub, restaurant or hotel is good enough then it deserves praise and people should know. However, on the other hand, if it falls short then it deserves criticism and, also, people should be made aware of poor quality service or product. It’s as simple as that.

I find generally that pubs, restaurants and hotels in Ireland offer a wonderful service and, with the right deal, can offer excellent value for your Euro in most cases. If this is not the case, then a simple good natured complaint to will most likely put things right again but when the often simple things are not put right cause the real problems and unnecessary arguments with staff. This has happened to me on quite a few occasions when I make a simple complaint and it is ignored or the staff member becomes very defensive and argumentative.

If the service is good enough, like any purchase that you make, then you pay and happy to do so – this is how the system works – but if your meal or pint is not up to scratch then, simply, you don’t pay. You don’t want to waste your hard earned cash on junk now do you, and neither do I.

These are tough times and the last thing you want to do is to part with your hard earned Euro on a crap meal. For me, too many people involved in the hostelry business seem to think that we should be honoured to stay at their hotel or eat their fillet steak but when you think about this, actually, in real life,  it’s the opposite with the shoe on the other foot and so on and they should feel lucky to be getting our custom and our money. The customer is the king or queen and this royal blog site is designed to inform the kings and queen out there.
